The #stillhungry Project
Still Hungry, published by Signature Editions in April 2015, examines the complicated relationships we all have with food, hunger and desire. From starvation to satiation, this collection of poems considers the complexities of how we eat, or don’t, in a society where abundance and starvation co-exist.
It’s not just a book, though. It’s an ongoing conversation. I want to encourage dialogue about this complex relationship, especially for those who have food challenges—allergies, eating disorders, aversions and other food differences.
What foods do you hunger for? What foods do you hate (or hate you?) What do you wish you could eat, but can’t? What do you wish you couldn’t eat, but must?
Tell your story here. It’s a whole new kind of dinner conversation.
